Stockholm, Sweden · originally Giza, Egypt
I help teams solve the challenges that matter most to them. Currently at Datadog as an Enterprise Sales Engineer, working with organisations across the Nordics on observability and security.
About
I grew up in Giza and studied Computer Science and Engineering at the German University in Cairo, graduating in 2014. This gave me a technical foundation that I didn't fully appreciate at the time.
While studying, I got involved with AIESEC and spent a good chunk of my early twenties facilitating exchange programmes and travelling across the world. That period genuinely changed how I see the world. One of those exchanges brought me to Stockholm for an internship, and somehow, ten years later, I'm still here. I have a family, a mortgage, and a favourite fika spot. I'm grateful to be able to call Stockholm home.
Professionally, I've moved between engineering, product, and sales roles across industries. The thread running through all of it is the same: I like being in the room where technical complexity meets human decisions, and helping the two sides understand each other.

Life outside work
I'm in it for the fun and competition. I think it's highly addictive once you get into it.
Fire flow arts is about as far from my day job as it gets, which is exactly why I love it. It's also how I've met some of the coolest people I know.
I'm on a hiking journey to become the real "FjÀllfarsan".
I like to dabble with tech to stay up to date. I try my best to not copy a line of code that I don't understand, but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes.
Some people eat to live, but I live to eat. Cooking is really important to me.
Seeing how differently people live is the fastest cure for assumptions. I try to travel as much as life allows, and it never stops surprising me.
